Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Creamy Parmesan Sauce
Tender, juicy steak bites seared until beautifully browned, tossed in garlicky butter, then finished in a rich Parmesan cream sauce. Big steakhouse flavor with very few carbs—exactly the kind of comfort food that belongs in the That Keto Chick kitchen.

Ingredients
- 1½ lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter, divided
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to Make It
- Pat the steak cubes very dry with paper towels. Season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high to high heat. Add the olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter.
- Add the steak in a single layer without overcrowding the pan. Sear for about 2 minutes without moving it, then turn and cook another 1–2 minutes. Work in batches if necessary. Transfer the browned steak to a plate.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons butter and garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Add Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes.
- Let the cream gently simmer for 2–3 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and gradually stir in the Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Return the steak and any juices to the skillet. Toss in the Parmesan sauce and cook for another 1–2 minutes, just until the steak is warmed through. Don't overcook it.
- Taste and adjust the salt and pepper. Finish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
💗 That Keto Chick Tip
Get that skillet hot before adding the steak, and don't crowd it. We want a deep brown sear—not steamed steak. Also, freshly grated Parmesan melts much more smoothly than the pre-shredded kind.
Serving idea: This would be excellent over buttery cauliflower mash, roasted broccoli, asparagus, or zucchini noodles.
